Wind Turbine Tower Kit 45ft (14m)

This 45ft (14m) tower kit is designed for use with the Air-Breeze and Air-X home wind turbines. The kit includes everything that you need except the main steel tubing which is far cheaper to buy from your local DIY store. This kit can be used to construct a stable wind turbine tower that can withstand winds up to 90mph, without the need to dig holes, mix concrete or use an expensive winch to raise it.

The kit includes:

• Base Connector
• Upper Wire Set (280 ft. pre-cut)
• Lower Wire Set (160 ft. pre-cut) (2)
• 3 x Base Staples
• 3 x 3/8' x 1 ½' Bolt
• 8 x 3/8' Locknut
• 16 x Cable Thimbles
• Cable Clamps 1*

This 45 foot Tower Kit also includes a kit to raise the tower which comprises:

• Gin Pole Cap
• 100ft Rope
• 3 x Snap Links
• 8 Foot Cable
• 3/8' x 1-1/2' Bolt
• 3/8' Locknut

Four lengths of steel tubing are required in total:

• 24ft (7.2m) length for tower
• 21ft (6.3m) length for tower
• 6ft (1.8m) length for tower base
• 21ft (6.3m) length for gin pole

The tower kit is designed to use standard steel tubing with an outer diameter of 1.875' (47.6mm), widely available from DIY or hardware stores. It is important to use only structural steel tubing with a wall thickness of at least 0.065' (1.65mm).
