This 27ft (8m) tower kit is designed for use with the Air-Breeze and Air-X home wind turbines. The kit includes everything that you need except the main steel tubing which is far cheaper to buy from your local DIY store. This kit can be used to construct a stable wind turbine tower that can withstand winds up to 120mph, without the need to dig holes, mix concrete or use an expensive winch to raise it.
The kit includes:
- Base Connector
- Lower Wire Set (160 ft. pre-cut)
- Base Staples (2)
- 2 x 3/8' x 1 ½' Bolts
- 2 x 3/8' Locknut
- 4 x Cable Thimbles
- 8 x Cable Clamps
The tower kit is designed to use standard steel tubing, widely available from DIY or hardware stores. For the 45ft wind turbine tower, four lengths are required in total:
- 24 ft (7.2 m) length for tower
- 3 ft (0.9 m) length for tower
- 6 ft (1.8 m) length for tower base

The tower kit is designed to use standard steel tubing with an outer diameter of 1.875' (47.6mm), widely available from DIY or hardware stores. It is important to use only structural steel tubing with a wall thickness of at least 0.065' (1.65mm). If your local DIY or hardware store does not stock this tubing, it is available from a specialist online supplier such as metals4u.co.uk.
